As with any other great vacations we’ve been on; when it came down to the last day, we weren’t quite ready to leave.  We are always wishing for an extra day… as they say, all good things must come to an end.

Highlight of our favorites:

1)  Grand Californian Hotel – highly recommend anyone planning a trip to stay here.  Service was impeccable and you are literally in the center of everything.

2)  California Adventure – we really enjoyed this side of the park because it was less crowded and the incredible rides & attractions.  Tay’s favorite ride was ‘Soarin Over California’…she went on it twice!  For Brooksie, I’d have to say her favorite was the Aladdin musical.

3)  Meeting all the Disney Characters and Princesses – we dined at Goofy’s Kitchen and Ariel’s Grotto.  Food was marginal but the kids LOVED meeting their favorite stars.  B enjoyed seeing them from afar, didn’t care for them so much up close.

4)  Parades – the girls really LOVE watching any type of dance / musical performance.  Tay even got picked to join the performers in the parade.

5)  Fun time with family – the best part of the trip was the chance to meet up with family.  The girls just adore their Grandma & Grandpa, Aunts, and Cousins.

We had a MAGICAL time; although, it was not quite perfect.

I was disappointed on two accounts.  First, we didn’t get to see the fireworks…the one night we had planned to see it the show got canceled due to high wind advisory.  Second, missed the water spectacular “World of Color” grand premier by just a few weeks.  Suppose, this gives us just a few reasons to go back – LOL.

more of Ed, Virginia and Ava…

Thanks guys for such a fun time, you have a beautiful family!

Virginia mentioned that she has a lot of pictures of Little Miss Ava, has a handful of photos of the Little Miss with her Daddy or with her Mommy but hardly any of them together as a family.  As the person who is always behind the camera I completely understand where she is coming from.  So, the request was for some good family portraits.  Family portraits is what they want so family portraits is what they get =  ).

Of course…I couldn’t help but to capture just a few (okay, more than just a few) of the Little Miss.  How could I not?  She is such a cutie and is full of spunk!

By the way, while going through the images I kept thinking how much Virginia resembles Kristy Yamaguchi (LOL).  Virginia, I believe I may have found your doppelganger.

Here is a teaser for Ed, Virginia, and Little Miss Ava.  More from this fun session to come later.

…she looks like a little doll in this shot *sigh*

To all the GREAT Mom’s out there…hope you are having a special day!

Just had to post one more teaser…her Mommy will have to wait for the rest this weekend =  ).

Sneak Peek for their Mommy as she was slightly worried I might not have gotten any good shots.

Little Miss A celebrated her 1 year birthday last week…aren’t these girls beautiful?
